About the client

British Bakels have been manufacturing and distributing high quality bakery ingredients since 1904. They provide technical support to people using their products, and their customers include artisan, retail, and industrial bakeries.

The project brief

They approached us to enhance their online visibility and lead generation, and establish themselves as thought leaders in bakery supplies.

Our approach

After conducting a comprehensive audit of their website and marketing communications, we focused on keyword research, navigation optimisation, and content creation to boost organic search rankings.

Following this, we developed an ‘Insights’ content hub targeting key bakery trends such as emerging flavors, packaging, and ingredients.

We produced two in-depth ‘Insights’ articles monthly and implemented an outreach strategy by collaborating with artisan bakers and food bloggers on relevant topics, including Covid-19-driven bakery trends and 3D food printing.

The results

193% increase in traffic to the ‘Insights’ section year on year.
Successfully generated new business lead enquiries from the ‘Insights’ section.
25% uplift in website lead form submissions.
