About the client

Stay in A Pub is a carefully curated collection of boutique pubs, traditional coaching inns & affordable pub accommodation in Britain. Their customers can find real places, real people & real stays on their booking site.

The project brief

The client sought to identify and address issues causing customer drop-offs during the search and booking process on their website.

Our approach

We conducted user testing to analyse potential pain points in the customer journey. Parameters, including methodology, user demographics, scenarios, and questions, were defined for 15 tests, with 10 focusing on the search journey and five on the booking process.

Post-testing, we analysed responses, identified themes, and provided actionable recommendations based on our findings.

Quantitative data and insights were presented to the client.

The results

Our research-led approach uncovered key issues and provided actionable solutions, highlighting the importance of data-driven CRO.

Insights revealed overlooked concerns, such as the absence of information on vegan/vegetarian menus and child-friendly accommodations, which could impact search and booking experiences.
