This is a in Colchester with a salary of £35,000-£40,000 (depending on experience).

The Head of Client Services will be responsible for the entire client base to ensure our clients are happy across the board. The objective is to build long term relationships with our clients and grow the topline revenue in the business. The Head of Client Services is responsible for supporting the Relationship Manager team to build exceptional relationships with our clients and will also provide hands on support with some of our largest client relationships.

The Head of Client Services will be responsible for the client lifecycle from client onboarding, retention as well as dealing with client grumbles and client cancelations. You will head the client onboarding process and facilitate client retention. You will oversee the client services team (relationship managers), supporting their work on key accounts, providing mentoring to the team to promote their professional development. To facilitate this you will provide weekly meetings with the team and heads of departments to support the smooth running of the client services department.

The holder of the role will be expected to come to the role with rapport building skills, project and people management skills, emotional intelligence alongside the ability to take initiative when handling clients and accounts.

Within this role you will spend your time on calls and in meetings with relationship managers, clients and heads of departments. Each week you will have 1:1 meetings with each relationship manager to discuss their professional development and provide ongoing mentoring, training and support. The role is very sociable and involves a high amount of day to day interaction with other departments, clients and our team. Although hard work, the role can be lots of fun.

Where will I work?

Under current COVID-19 guidance our Colchester based team are working part time in the office and part time at home.

What you need

Successful applicants for the role must share our values, have a strong understanding of the principles of Digital Marketing (often people in this role have recently completed a marketing degree) and have experience in the industry.

The holder of the role will be expected to come to the role with exceptional presentation delivery skills, emotional intelligence, rapport building skills and project management skills alongside the ability to spot opportunities and ultimately generate leads.
