Testing Tales – Lessons & approaches for testing internal linking changes before deployment

Published on September 11, 2020 by Chris Green

For the last few months, I’ve been experimenting with ways of testing internal linking on websites before the changes are deployed to live, the original study was launched as an ebook in partnership with OnCrawl (Link below). Since then I have had the opportunity to speak about this on a few occasions, but today’s Brighton SEO Summit on Crawl & Indexation was when I got to share some further tips and methods to help us all incorporate this kind of testing into more usual SEO workflows.

Thanks to all those who attended my talk, if you wanted to recap the slides (or missed it and want to understand what it was I was talking about), I’ve embedded the presentation below.

The original ebook I released with OnCrawl is available here if anyone wants to take a more detailed look.
