At Footprint Digital we believe there is nothing you can’t achieve. We help driven and ambitious £1-20 million turnover businesses ‘join the dots’ and level up their digital marketing efforts through performance marketing services such as SEO, PPC, Conversion Rate Optimisation and Content Marketing. We support our team to do the best work of their career and to learn, play and grow.
We have grown from 2-18 members of our team and from £0 revenue to £1million annually, working with exciting brands such as Legal and General, Itsu and Huawei. Our ambitions are huge. To achieve them, we need the right people with the right technical expertise and problem solving minds to join us and share our vision. That is where you come in…
The Technical SEO Role
To keep our clients satisfied and grow our client base, we need to provide their accounts with the very best level of work and technical expertise. We must keep up to date with the evolution of SEO and stay ahead of the curve to provide an unrivaled level of service.
Your role as Technical SEO will focus on working with the wider delivery and client services team as the SEO lead for a portfolio of clients.
Auditing and identifying areas for improvement will be key to your role. You will assist the sales team in winning work by performing GA and SEO marketing audits for prospective clients, as well as creating SEO site audits through in-depth investigative work for current clients.
Your auditing and diagnostics work will inform an SEO strategy for each client, and you will be responsible for resolving technical SEO issues, analysing trends and data, implementing recommendations, monitoring performance, creating performance and recommendation reports and consistently thinking about new opportunities for growth and improvement.
Whilst our Relationship Managers will be in charge of daily communication with clients, you should be confident in liaising directly with clients, developers and other key stakeholders, ensuring that you can explain your recommendations in an effective way, and maintaining the strong relationships the wider team have built with them. This is especially crucial when working on large projects such as website build and migration where your SEO expertise will guide development, design, and launch decisions.
Our collaborative and supportive team will help you deliver exceptional work and the perfect candidate for the role will share the desire to educate those around them.
We are open to applications from both junior or senior talent as we will offer training to the right junior applicant. You must already be a proactive problem solver, have a passion for SEO, be confident in prioritising SEO issues that deliver results and ROI, and be happy to work independently, but know when to reach out for help.
Culture is important to us, so the right applicant would have emotional intelligence, be a team player, can spot opportunities to improve delivery and challenge the status quo, will feel comfortable asking questions, and will be interested in staying up to date with the industry and sharing your knowledge with the wider team.
