Michael Scanlon – Head of Paid Search

An experienced digital marketer with a long history of working in the marketing and advertising industry, Michael is highly skilled in paid search, and has been the Head of Footprint Digital’s Paid Search department since 2018.

Previously to working at Footprint Digital, Michael held similar roles including PPC Account Manager, and Head of Paid Search for over five years at another agency, working alongside Footprint’s Directors, Tom Bowden and Tom Jepson. 

Alongside an analytical and data driven approach to Paid Search, Michael brings a creative flair, honed by his Degree in Fine Art, and in previous roles as a freelance writer and a creative designer for newspapers and magazines. 

Michael’s unique combination of artistic understanding and digital marketing prowess means he is well equipped to understand how best to advertise to a wide range of audiences, and make the most out of the full gamut of paid search services for any client.
